Rigid plastics are plastic objects (#'s 1-5) that are solid, hold a shape, and are hard to break or crumple with bare hands. (not "Other #7")

Container/material must be empty, drip-free, at least 4" (inches) tall and fit in the cart/bin with the lid closed.

Berkeley Recycle Free Drop-off Typically includes items such as 5-gallon buckets, crates, large plastic containers, nursery pots, plastic lawn chairs and other scrap plastic. Rigid plastic should be clean and nursery pots should be emptied of dirt. No rubber, PVC pipe, vinyl or laminated plastic.
