Single-family residents who enjoy a live holiday tree can dispose of it properly through Livermore’s curbside tree collection program, available January 5–January 16, 2026. Place your tree at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your regular service day during the two-week collection period and make sure to remove all stands, lights, and decorations before set-out. Trees taller than five feet will need to be cut into sections no longer than five feet.
Multi-family residents may also take advantage of Livermore’s holiday tree collection service, available January 5–9, 2026. Residents will need to reach out to their property managers to find out where there designated drop-off spot is. Again, trees must be clean, with all stands, lights, and decorations removed.
Flocked and artificial trees are not accepted in this program; please contact Livermore Sanitation for appropriate disposal options.
Local Boy Scouts are also collecting trees and wreaths on 1/3/26 for a nominal donation to help send a scout to camp. For more information, visit: www.scoutgreen.org or email: scoutgreentrees@gmail.com
