Tents and Outdoor Gear

Consider reuse or repair before disposal. Check with an alteration specialist to see if their machines can handle sewing repairs. Local sporting goods and outdoor stores may have a repair program.
Posting broken gear on NextDoor, Craigslist, or Buy Nothing with the issues your gear is in may get rehomed by people who are willing to repair it, buy replacement parts, or have alternate use cases.
