Eyeglasses

Eyeglasses are objects to aid in vision. They contain a metal or plastic frame with two lenses made from plastic or glass.

Consider donation for prescription glasses in good condition to a Lion's Club collection center. Bring broken glasses into your optician for repair or reframing your lenses with a replacement frame. Many DIY options exist for reuse of lenses and repairing frames. Consider finding vintage frames for your current prescription. Many thrifts accept sunglasses and readers for reuse to their customers. Broken beyond repair glasses belong in the garbage.

Find a participating eye doctor's office to drop-off old contact lenses & blister packs for recycling through TerraCycle. Share unexpired new condition contact lenses and solution to your community for reuse with perscription details.
