Clothing - Poor Condition

Clothes and linens (towels, bedding, rags) that are ripped and/or stained, or pieces of textiles that can be turned into rags or shredded for recycling.

Consider repair, stain removal and creative reuse before donation to an organization for reuse or recycling (rag and textile shredding).

Hawthorne Recycle Buyback Mail-in The clothing can be in any condition as long as it's clean (no shoes - socks and swim okay).  We take any brand of clothing in any condition as long as it's clean and washed. Please no undergarments. Just throw all your old stuff in your Take Back Bag and use the prepaid shipping label to send it back to us. As thanks for doing your part, we'll instantly add a credit your account, good on any future purchase. $6 credit for the Small size, $10 credit for the Medium size, and $20 credit for the Large size.

During the first week of every January, April, July, October, gently used household textiles (sheets, towels, etc.) and clothing will be collected and donated to a local charity. Items should be clean and placed in a tightly tied clear bag next to the recyclables cart on your collection day. Receipts not provided.
