Rescues plants and trees from offices, businesses, or projects with resale events of plants and garden materials to the public (see dates on website). See accepted list for donations. Plant Exchange promotes sustainable gardening practices, reduce landfill waste, educate people about environmental justice, and bring our community together over a common love of gardening. See current donation needs here. Opportunities for becoming a plant exchange partner, a volunteer, and for non-profits to receive free plants. Tools & Accessories - Garden - Working Accept plant accessories including weed whackers, power tools, hand tools, gloves, wheelbarrows, shovels, compost and worm bins, yard art, bird feeders, fountains, landscape accents, driftwood, pots of all sizes and materials, compost, mulch, potting soil, bricks, and even pond supplies. Not currently accepting: One gallon and smaller plastic pots, chemicals and fertilizer, plant starts/seedlings in 2″ pots or smaller, and broken tools or equipment.
