Sotira

44 Montgomery St, San Francisco, California
(650) 485-3603

Sotira is the top distributor in the US for brands, manufacturers and retailers with overstock or short dated inventory looking to sell into the off price retail market. By selling unsold stock to Sotira, brands are unlocking cash, clearing storage space and accessing new markets. After years of running liquidation operations for D2C and brick and mortar businesses, Amrita and Gary started Sotira, an integrated and streamlined platform to discreetly offload and monetize unsold or short dated inventory while preserving brand protection. Today, Sotira is backed by some of the top Silicon Valley investors in retail and logistics and has rerouted millions of pounds of unsold inventory from landfills to date.

Food for Donation At Sotira, we connect suppliers - retailers to manufacturers to distributors to retailers to brands - to buyers in the secondary market. Their software/platform helps large food suppliers track and right-size their ordering to reduce surplus, offload and monetize their surplus inventory, recouping up to 50% of the product cost. In some cases, when inventory cannot be sold to secondary buyers, the product is donated to food banks and/or food recovery orgs. Sotira has a Partner Program for food, health and wellness, and beauty space looking to accept donations for redistribution.
