The Sunnyvale Materials Recovery and Transfer Station (SMaRT Station) is operated by Bay Counties Waste Services for the cities of Mountain View and Sunnyvale. The SMaRT Station offers the following services: - Self-haul disposal - CRV Buy-Back Center for General Public (by appointment only) - Recycling Center - Free compost and mulch is available to residents of Sunnyvale, and Mountain View.
As of 01/1/2022 Sunnyvale SMaRT Station No longer serves city of Palo Alto residents, except for CRV Buy-back which is open to all.
