Donation Information here. Two bags or boxes at a time (ex. Ikea bag, standard moving box). Bolts of fabric, yarn, artist's acrylic and oil paint, and artist paper and canvas are items that can be donated at any time without an appointment. For larger donations, email donate@scrap-sf.org to schedule an appointment.

If you cannot drop off your donation, SCRAP can pick up, on a case-by-case basis, by appointment. Within San Francisco, there is no charge for this service as long as you are donating the equivalent of six banker boxes. We do appreciate your voluntary donation of $15 for individuals, $50 for businesses. To arrange for a pick-up, please call SCRAP at 415 647-1746 between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM to speak to our staff.

1. All donations will be carefully screened
Our on-site intake staff will have final discretion of donation items. Even if your donation has been approved by email, our intake team may reject your donation if it is smelly, broke, or misrepresented via images (e.g unusable condition, messiness, larger quantity or size than described, etc).

2. Always check in your donation with our on-site staff
Do not leave your donation without checking in.You must check-in your donation with our onsite intake staff. Please be patient if they are not available right away. Dumping is illegal.

3. Please keep it nice and neat
To help our intake team do their best job, we ask that you organize your items. Donations should be itemized by our acceptable categories. Messy donations will be rejected.
