Residents of Oakland (only) Bulky Block Party events are held the last Saturday of every month from 9am to 1pm at 7101 Edgewater Drive, Oakland, CA. Oakland residents may drop off for free items that don't fit in their trash cart at home. Residents can make as many trips between the open hours as they want. Proof of residency such as a household bill will be required (no businesses). Go to https://www.oaklandrecycles.com/bulky-service/ and scroll to Bulky Drop-off Service Instructions.

Up to 4 cubic yards (3 ft x 3 ft x 12 ft, approx.) of bulky waste that may include the following:

  • Furniture and carpets
  • Non-hazardous items
