Bulky junk drop offs & pickups for all residents are included with trash service. All Oakland households (single-family homes and apartment buildings), owners and renters, can directly schedule a drop off and a curbside pickup appointment. Reservations required for drop off and curbside pickups.

Bulky Curbside Pickup: Make an appointment to get up to four cubic yards of bulky waste and a limited number of large items like appliances, mattresses, and tires picked up on the curb.

* For single-family homes only, a second curbside pickup is available annually at no additional cost 45 days after use of one bulky drop off and one curbside pickup.

• Furniture and carpets (roll and tape all carpets)
• Non-hazardous items (box or bag loose items),
