Please call the office if you have a question about what materials are accepted and to get a cost estimate. You must have an account to get required receipt for C&D. The Marin Resource Recovery Center is closed on New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. For contractors and landscapers that need to show high diversion rates to comply for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) projects, local C&D ordinances and/or CalGreen, it is recommended that materials be source separated. Please inform the attendant at the MRRC booth on Jacoby or the scale house on Andersen of the contents of the load (i.e. concrete). This way, the material will be noted on the scale ticket and can be used to show a higher overall diversion rate. For haz waste see https://marinhhw.com/ For the MRF for residential & commercial curbside material, see https://marinrecycling.com/.
