Make It Home furnishes homes of those in need with donated furniture and household goods. Serves 7 Bay Area counties. Home furnishings accepted. Read through guidelines, submit online form to get an appointment for donation drop-off. We require that gently-used furniture is just that: clean, functioning, free of odors, and not in need of repair. Please do not attempt to give us furniture that has rips, stains, tears, cigarette burns, water damage, showing signs of frayed fabric, and/or pet hair.

No longer accepting donations at the Walnut Creek site as that site will close in August. Donations are accepted at the San Rafael site. A storage facility in Union City is serving as another site to put together furnishings for individual and community apartments.
