Accepts behind-the-ear aids that are in good repair to use as loaner aids for children in preschool programs. Other hearing aids, such as the in-the-ear type, are sent to a hearing aid manufacturer for credit towards purchasing loaner aids. The manufacturer recycles the electronic components to make refurbished aids.
