Packaged Food - Expired/Non-working We’ve worked with the largest distribution centers, grocers, and agricultural companies to find recycling solutions for organic waste. In cases of packaged foods, our team disassembles packaging, recycles plastics and paper, and directs food waste to be bio-digested. We use wet food waste for composting, mulch, or anaerobic digestion, which produces a biogas that can be used as fuel. Dry food waste can be sent to the bio-digester or, in certain cases, even used as animal feed. We always find local solutions for any food waste, partnering with composters and mulchers.
