ECAP'S mission is to provide food, clothing, furnishings, referrals, care and compassion to those in need in Emeryville and the surrounding communities. For many residents ECAP is the place of last resort, the place to go when traditional social services are not meeting their needs.

Food for Donation Types of Food Accepted: Fresh produce; Shelf-stable/Non-perishable foods; Fresh/Frozen grocery requiring refrigeration or freezing; Baked Goods; Meat; Milk & Dairy; Cold prepared foods; Hot prepared foods; Bulk foods. This Food Recovery Organization is willing to collect from food donors in:  Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Emeryville, Hayward, Oakland; Outside Alameda County
