The All Good Living Foundation has many programs to serve families who are experiencing homelessness, including through Community Closets operated at K-12 public schools in Alameda County. Students and their families can find clothing, shoes, school and sport supplies, food, and so much more, all for free. Seeing volunteers, especially retired school staff to serve as volunteers, and seeking teachers and students to operate school-year collection/donation programs of jackets and shoes to rehome within the closets to reach very local communities and promote waste prevention.
