Tool Lending Library information Located on the second floor. The Seed Lending Library is in the cabinets near the Tool Lending Library. Occasionally there are gardening classes offered at the library. Events are held in the Stafford meeting room or in the adjacent patio, weather permitting. Topics change , so please check our calendar on our website. Free to all, RSVP encouraged. Only residents or property owners of the city of Alameda over the age of 18 are eligible to borrow tools from the Tool Lending Library (TLL). No more than 5 items may be borrowed at any one time. The loan period for tools is 3 weeks.
