Plastic Bottles & Jugs - Non-CRV

Bottles and jugs must be empty and drip-free with lid reattached before placing in recycling container.

As of Jan. 1, 2024, there are new eligible beverage containers for redemption in the California Beverage Recycling Program. Consumers pay CA Redemption Value (CRV) when they purchase beverages from a retailer. Find changes to the program and redemption locations here.

Oakland accepts this item in your curbside recycling container.

Empty, drip-free. Commercial size (5 gallon max.) to Pill bottles (at least 4" high)
