Hazardous Materials & Wastes
Alameda County: Large quantities, materials/waste from large businesses, and waste requiring pick-up is not an option for the Household, Landlord, & Small Business Hazardous Waste Programs and Facilities in Alameda County. Contact a hazardous waste company for pick-up.
Did you know expired alcohol-based hand sanitizer is considered hazardous waste? Do not pour it down the drain, in the garbage, or dispose of it on the ground. Take it to your local HHW Facility, or for very large volumes contact a hazardous waste company for pick up. For more information: CalEPA , DTSC.
