Must be empty and drip-free before recycling.
Materials that should not be mixed into curbside recycling and when broken belong in the garbage: beverage glasses, plates, ceramics, Pyrex or other heat resistant glass, light bulbs, computer monitors, phone screens, plate glass: windows, sliding doors, safety glass, car windshields, art glass, leaded crystal, mirrors.
As of Jan. 1, 2024, there are new eligible beverage containers for redemption in the California Beverage Recycling Program. Consumers pay CA Redemption Value (CRV) when they purchase beverages from a retailer. Find changes to the program and redemption locations here, or call 1-800-RECYCLE.

1581 University Ave, Berkeley •We are currently accepting for donation: 24 oz. wide-mouth Mason or Kerr Jars (straight -sided), 26 oz. square-shoulder Mason or Kerr Jars, Wide-mouth rings, New wide-mouth lids. pints and half pints, narrow-mouth half pints and 4 ounce jars. We do not need quarts, narrow mouth pints, 12-ounce jars or other odd sized or shaped jars. We can also use glass Gerolsteiner mineral water bottles in 750 ml and 330 ml sizes. Please bring them in for us to inspect first or contact info@threestonehearth.com. We need to make sure they are clean, label-free, intact and usable. You may have heard about the national supply shortage of Mason jars, and it may not be until well into next year that our supply chain returns to normal. These need to be clean, unchipped, unbroken and packed securely for transport. (Please don’t include these items on your glass return form if you are a customer.)Free Drop-off
