Construction & Demolition Debris
Visit the Recycling Certification Institute's website for third-party verified diversion rates for recycling facilities. RecyclerFinder is an online and mobile application for quickly locating facilities nationwide that handle C&D and other recycled materials. CALGreen, California's mandatory green building code, requires most new construction projects to divert at least 50% of C&D debris.
Click here for Alameda County Codes & Standards, deconstruction, reuse, and built environment information. Waste Tracking is a web-based construction waste management tool that StopWaste was involved with developing.
Find Green Technology for buildings, renewable energy and purchasing. The LEED and GreenPoint Rated green building rating systems include credits for C&D waste management.
