Clyde accepts this item, but don't put it in your bins.

Household batteries can be recycled curbside. Place only single-use AA, AAA, C, D and 9V batteries in a clear, sealed, quart-size Ziploc plastic bag and placed next to your recycling cart.

Concord accepts this item, but don't put it in your bins.

Customers must call 925-682-9113 to arrange for a battery pick-up. Please place batteries in a plastic bag or closed container with a label that says, “Batteries” and place it next to your brown garbage cart. Only household batteries. Please, no automobile batteries.
