Lead-Painted Materials
Lead-painted materials are construction materials or consumer products which have been coated with lead paint.
EPA's Lead Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule requires common renovation activities like sanding, cutting, and demolition, which can create hazardous lead dust, are conducted properly by trained and certified contractors or individuals. For more information, please visit the EPA.
