Furniture includes large, moveable items for homes or offices.

Have lots of good pieces that deserve a good home? Consider donating to a furniture bank. Furniture banks are registered charities, not-for-profit organizations or social enterprises designed to provide gently used household furnishings to individuals and families in need, at little or no cost.

Urban Ore 900 Murray St. Berkeley Reuse Free Drop-off Solid wood furniture is preferred. Furniture should be fully assembled with no missing pieces, and upholstery should be unstained without tears. Particle-board furniture must be in near-perfect condition to be accepted. (No bedding or linens.) Furniture with chipped lead paint not accepted. We cannot accept sofa-beds and generally reject recliners with heavy metal machinery inside. We will consider chairs or small sofas with antique carved or exposed frames that may be worth upholstering and restoration.
