Electronics - Working
Electronics are items with one or more circuit boards, computer chips, an embedded battery, and/or or a video display.
Designate a box to accumulate old or unwanted electronics over time for donation to local community members or organizations.
What does the state of CA consider a "covered electronic device?" As of Jan. 1, 2026, devices with an embedded battery are considered an electronic device. See CalRecycle's Electronic Waste Management(link is external) webpage for details.
